Industry Specific ComplianceThe Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (AP RERA) on April 11, 2025, notified regarding the imposition of a penalty for delayed submission and to provide an uninterrupted link.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that promoters shall submit quarterly project updates to AP RERA within seven days of each quarter’s end as per Section 11(1) of the RERA Act, 2016 and Rule 15-1(d), failing which they may face a penalty of up to 5% of the project cost under Section 61.

• It states that AP RERA has granted a grace period from April 16, 2025, to May 15, 2025, for pending QPR submission, will publish defaulters on May 16, 2025, enable penalty-based QPR filing thereafter, and disable services for promoters missing three consecutive QPRs.

• It further provides the penalties for delayed QPR submission are ₹10,000 per missed quarter for buildings up to 20 units or layouts up to 5 acres, and ₹20,000 for buildings over 20 units or layouts over 5 acres, if not submitted within 21 days after each quarter or extended deadline.
